Parent Counseling and Consultation

There are ten billion ways to parent and, with a few hard exceptions, not one of them is “right” or “wrong”. What works for one child does not work for another; what is right for one family is not right for another. That is okay.

There is an overwhelming amount of information out there (parenting books, courses, “experts”, podcasts, etc.) for parents these days and even more so if your child has an identified or suspected learning difference.

Your life is chaotic enough and despite your efforts to access information to support your child and family in moving towards a life that feels more harmonious, identifying and making a concrete plan then moving into actionable steps feels out of reach. So, you default to current settings each day, running on fumes.

Maybe you want to talk to a trained professional who is both relatable but knows what she is talking about?

Maybe you want concrete and tangible action items to help your child connect and feel more positive about themselves and their abilities (that are not just sticker charts and data tracking).

Maybe you need a dedicated, neutral space with a child clinician who can provide you with answers and guidance to the questions that come between you and your partner about your child’s suspected or actual differences.

You crave good direction as it relates to the evolving needs of your children, teens and family health.

That direction needs to be accessible and manageable based on your family needs, so accessing these services in-person, virtually and/or as a recording to watch at your own pace and time is essential.
